Saul was elected as a Trustee of the United Synagogue in July 2017.

Saul has been involved in Synagogue life in his own community in Stanmore for many years, teaching the Bar/Bat Mitzva program for 10 years followed by 3 years on the Board of Management and a further 2 years as the Vice Chairman.

Saul has also been involved in the US at the Centre, helping to found the US Chesed Bursary Fund.

Saul has been a member of the US Council for the past 5 years and has sat on the US Investment Committee for the last 6 years.

In 2012, Saul was honoured to be asked by Stephen Pack to join the selection committee for the next Chief Rabbi.

Professionally, Saul joined the Bank of New York Mellon in 2006 as an intern on a three month placement and stayed for 9 years mainly trading EMEA Equities. Age 27 Saul was proud to be appointed one of the youngest Vice Presidents of the Bank and rose to become the Deputy Head of European Equity Trading. In 2014 Saul joined Visium Asset Management, a large global hedge fund, to head European Trading, staying there for 2 years until the company folded. He is currently working on a start-up hedge fund.
