Reverend Stewart Myers
Biography:
Reverend Stewart Myers began at South London Synagogue in April 2017.
Reverend Stewart Myers has had a long history of being a minister and a Jewish educationalist in synagogues and schools around the world, with extended periods of work in Israel and Australia, as well as in this country.
Born in Stepney and having grown up in Northwest London, he has been a minister in Bradford, a teacher of Jewish Studies at Ilford Jewish Primary School and spent ten years as the Minister at Boundary Road Synagogue (Waltham Forest Hebrew Congregation) where he led the community until the Shul merged with the Wanstead and Woodford Synagogue. He has also been superintendent at Rayners Lane Cemetery.
Reverend Myers was educated at Jews' College in the 1970s and has mixed with the various ministers and rabbonim in United Synagogue. He is keen on cricket and photography.
