Shmully is Manchester born and bred (United supporter!). He studied in yeshiva in both Gateshead and Ramat Beit shemesh, Israel.
Tamara was born in South africa and at the age of 7 moved to Manchester. Following her studies in Gateshead Seminary, Tamara took a position teaching in primary schools as a SENCO and 1-1 tutor.
After being introduced to each other by Shmully’s sister, they got married in 2015. They first settled in Israel before returning to Manchester after a short period .
Back in Manchester, Tamara resumed her role as a tutor in one of the local Jewish primary schools. Shmully joined the faculty at Darchei Torah doing what he loves best- inspiring young adults to develop, grow and just enjoy life.
Upon joining the Rabbinic Training Academy led by Rabbi Shaul Rosenblatt, in 2018 Shmully and Tamara along with their 2 children Gila and Ariel moved to Welwyn Garden City. On this program the Aronson’s hope to nurture and broaden their skills as community leaders, as well as to gain a clearer perspective of the challenges and issues facing British and world Jewry today.
In their spare time Tamara loves experimenting with her artistic skills, whilst Shmully can be found entertaining crowds as a singer at weddings and events.
