Rabbi Mason was brought up in Edinburgh where he attended George Watsons College. He received a Bachelors and Masters degree in Econometrics from LSE and then spent seven years in yeshivot in Israel where he received semicha.
Previously Rabbi of Kingston, Surbiton and District Synagogue now Rabbi of Muswell Hill Synagogue and represents the Chief Rabbi on issues of International Aid and Development. Additionally, Rabbi Mason has ten years of interfaith experience, particularly with the Christian and Moslem leadership.
