Last week, the Rabbinical Council of the United Synagogue held its annual residential conference which was hosted at the Hellidon Lakes Hotel, Northamptonshire. Seventy-eight  rabbanim and rebbetsens – as well as 81 children - attended, together with the Chief Rabbi and the Dayanim of the London Beth Din. The conference, which was subsidised by the United Synagogue, P’eir and the Office of the Chief Rabbi,  took as its theme ‘ Educate the child according to his/her nature’ and focussed especially on issues related to teenagers.
