Shavuot at KS&DS

Seventy members of Kingston, Surbiton & District Synagogue enjoyed a Swiss-style raclette lunch at the shul on first day Shavuot.
The raclette, a type of cheese, melted and poured over potatoes, was the brainchild of Rebbetzen Shulamit Mandelbaum as both she and Rabbi Yechezkel Mandelbaum hail from Switzerland. The KS&DS Ladies Guild provided accompanying salads and a delicious cheesecake with strawberries dessert.
