Replicating last year’s very successful Challah Make, Malka Galvan guided our group of enthusiastic pupils in the art of preparing, mixing, plaiting and baking Challah for Shabbat.

Rabbi Grunewald and his wife Shevi were the driving force for our ShabbatUK experience. They hosted and catered the three Shabbat meals.

A masterclass in the dignified pleasure of celebrating Shabbat.

The Friday evening service was followed by a communal meal in a relaxed homely atmosphere with traditional songs.

The Shabbat morning service was followed by kiddish and lunch.

We bid farewell to Shabbat with Havdalah followed by Israeli food and music.
