On Sunday, members of Redbridge US voted overwhelmingly in favour of appointing Rabbi Steven and Rebbetzen Siobhan Dansky as their new Senior Rabbinic couple. They will begin their roles towards the end of 2017.

Rabbi and Rebbetzen Dansky’s previous experience includes serving as Assistant Rabbinic couple at Mill Hill US, before moving to South Africa to take on a Rabbinic position there.

Speaking about their appointment, Rabbi Dansky said: “Both Siobhan and I are equally thrilled and excited to join such a wonderful community. We look forward to working together with the dedicated lay leadership team and our members, as we seek to continue creating inspirational moments and help to foster an even deeper love of Judaism within the community.”

Chair of Redbridge US, Mike Callaghan, added: “Rabbi and Rebbetzen Dansky bring with them a wealth of experience which will complement our community. We are excited that they will be part of our wonderful Rabbinic team and we look forward to supporting them in their new roles, forging a productive and meaningful relationship.”
