Last year Pinner's Community Café opened to great acclaim, welcoming people both young and old on Thursday mornings. Café styled furnishings – chequered tablecloths and tiny posies of flowers created a warm and friendly atmosphere where the community can meet and relax with a freshly percolated cup of coffee, tea or juice to their taste and of course a little bit of cake.

The community have not let Coronavirus prevent the cafe from running and so it has now moved online - with 60 people joining from the comfort of their homes. Sadly they need to provide their own coffee and cake now but that hsn't stopped everyone from attending and enjoying everyone's company and guest speakers.

Barbara said: "I think it's going to be sometime before we are all at the cafe so meeting up like this on zoom is fantastic! Thank you to everyone who organised it. Keep well and safe."
And Zara added: "Lovely to see everyone. Thanks to Karen and Leonie for organising such a lovely ‘coffee break’ and thanks to Margery for the interesting glimpse of her childhood. See you all soon."
