Mr Louis Martin, a member of Hendon United Synagogue, turned 106 on the 28th October. He has had many great achievements throughout his life, including being a Normandy veteran and a recipient of the 'Légion d'honneur' from the French government, as well as his service to Hendon United Synagogue.

Mr Martin's birthday has previously been honoured with a personalised card from the Chief Rabbi last year, and the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Barnet personally delivering good wishes from Her Majesty for his 100th birthday.

He and his wife usually celebrate Mr Martin's birthday with a Kiddush. Though the current government restrictions mean that they are not able to celebrate in their usual way this year, we would like to wish him a very happy birthday and many happy returns.
