Last week, over 200 visitors attended a unique Gap Year Fair at Mill Hill United Synagogue.  Now in its second year, Israel Engagement Hub of Mill Hill Synagogue together with MASA opened the doors to gap year students and university graduates to show them the wealth of work, apprenticeship, study and volunteering opportunities available in Israel.

Aardvark Israel Programs, FZY, Stand With Us, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, UJIA and Masa Israel were among the 20 organisations present. Students heard powerful speeches by Mark Regev, Israeli Ambassador and Mandie Winston, Chief Executive of UJIA.

Reporting on the Fair, Orli Lang founder of Mill Hill’s Israel Engagement Hub said “We are so proud to be able to show this future generation the vast array of opportunities that are open to them now in Israel, much more than just a Kibbutz!”
