Help schools in Africa by donating stationery and reading books

As we approach Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur and turn our thoughts toward Teshuva, Tefillah and Tzedakah, Project Chesed together with School Aid are asking you to donate stationery and reading books to disadvantaged school children in Africa. When you are shopping for your own children’s supplies, please remember to put an extra item in your bag for the child that can’t afford it. We would welcome any of the items listed below.

Project Chesed works to provide our members with a range of opportunities to show our care for the wider community. This is one such project and it is an easy one to deliver. You can organise a local collection at your shul at a time that works for your community, and either deliver it to the US Offices or we will come and collect it from you. We will do the rest and make sure, via our partner charity School Aid, that children in Africa get the benefit of your kindness. Thank you.
