Around 70 children and their parents enjoyed GGS’s Children’s Purim Party on Sunday 13th March.

Organised by the shul’s Junior Events Committee, the party created a carnival atmosphere with stalls offering Purim-themed activities such as mask making, face painting and much more. The community’s teenagers pitched in and manned the stalls, freeing the parents to enjoy the event with their children.

Many of the children used it as an opportunity to try out the costumes they have planned for Purim, which enhanced the festive mood.

There was live entertainment in the form of a magic show and entertainer who had all the children dancing, as well as refreshments for both adults and children. GGS’s Assistant Rabbi and Rebbetzin couple, Rabbi Sam and Hadassah Fromson said, “It was a fantastic event and put everyone in the mood for Purim!  Many thanks to all the organisers and volunteers on the day.”
