On Sunday 6th June, the families of the Bushey Synagogue nursery attended an outdoor Fun Day, hosted by the PTA.
The children enjoyed an afternoon of games, such as Hook a Duck, Lucky Dip, and Guess the Name of the Bunny, as well as face-painting, glitter tattoos, a Baby Zone and interactive entertainment from the very popular Captain Calamity.
The PTA also organised a raffle with prizes donated by local Bushey businesses, such as Flax Foods, KB Nails, F.Y.G. and Club Excel with the total money raised totalling in excess of £400.
PTA co-organiser, Jenna Bensason, said of the event: "The PTA team and helpers worked really hard to create a fun afternoon for the youngest members of our community and judging by the positive feedback we received from parents, I think we can say it was a great success. After what has been a really difficult year for the children, it was so lovely to see them happy and smiling and able to enjoy a bit of normality again! The money raised was a fantastic amount, which will help us continue to provide valuable resources and experiences for the nursery children."
