The United Synagogue and Tribe have teamed up with @lovelovechallah and Just Baked to challenge YOU to come up with a creative challah design for ShabbatUK!

A parasha-themed plaited production, or a decorative doughy delight – the only limit is your imagination! 

Send us a photo of your baked creation, along with your full name, contact number and location, to: challah@theus.org.uk 

The winning entry will be chosen by our panel of judges and will win a six month supply of challah!*

Closing date for entries is Monday 16th May at 5pm. The winner will be revealed on Wednesday 18th May.

Terms and Conditions

• All entries must be submitted via challah@theus.org.uk by Monday 16th May 2022 at 5:00pm. Entries received after 5:00pm on the 16th May will not be part of the competition.
• To enter please send us a clear photograph of your original creation, together with your full name, location and a contact telephone number. 
• If you are under 18 years of age, you must have permission from a parent or guardian before entering and include their contact details so we can let them know if you’re the winner.
• Whilst we will try and acknowledge every entry, we may not be able to respond to each individual entrant.
• The winners will be chosen by a judging panel from The United Synagogue, Tribe, ShabbatUK, Just Baked and Love Love Challah.
• The winner will be notified by email or telephone that they have won the competition.
• By entering this competition you give the United Synagogue permission to publish your full name and a photograph of your entry in the press and/or on social media. 
• *The winner will receive a gift voucher or credit for a kosher-supervised bakery or kosher shop to the value of £160 which covers the approximate cost of two medium challot per week over a six month period. Prizes cannot be exchanged or returned.
