Sutton & District Synagogue held a moving Remembrance Shabbat Morning Service on 15 November.  It was conducted by Rabbi Meir Lev, and the congregation approaching 100 people was joined by the Mayor and Mayoress of Sutton, local MPs Paul Burstow and Tom Brake, and South Sutton Councillors Trish Fivey and Richard Clifton.  Special prayers were preceded by a poignant address from AJEX member Stanley Roth, and were followed by a two minute silence.

The visitors were welcomed by Sutton Chairman Paul Sarfaty, and after a response from the Mayor, Cllr Arthur Hookway, they joined members of the community at a Kiddush in the shul hall.
