100 people packed out Catford & Bromley United Synagogue to hear an Israeli and Palestinian talk about life in Israel, the West Bank and Gaza. The event, called Invest in Peace, was organised by Solutions not Sides and the Board of Deputies. Catford & Bromley Synagogue co-hosted the event together with Lewisham Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin.

Joe Burchell said: "The two speakers were excellent erudite and very informative and produced lots of questions from the  audience of people of all faiths in the Borough. The general impression was that if these two speakers were leading the negotiations  as opposed to the politians a peace settlement  could be found sooner rather then later."
