On Sunday the pupils of the Aleph Learning Centre at Hampstead Garden Suburb put on a wonderful performance at their first ever Pesach concert. Class by class the children appeared on stage and sung a joyful assortment of popular Pesach songs accompanied by live music. Over 450 pupils and parents packed into the hall and enjoyed a morning of Pesach music and entertainment. Surprise guest appearance was made by Rabbi and Rebbetzin Kaplan who enacted out scenes of Pharaoh, Moshe and the story of Exodus.

The students also had the opportunity to bake their own Matzah in the visiting Tzivos Hashem Matzah Bakery. They were introduced to the process of how Matza is made and then were invited to join in the workshop and bake their very own Matzah to take home.

As the pupils left, the head teacher and staff handed out song books, Interactive Seder Question and Answer packs as well as a Seder spinning wheel game, to engage pupils in their own Seder experience at home and to encourage their participation.

Wishing the Families and staff of the ALC a happy Pesach.
