Accessibility Statement

Web accessibility ensures that all visitors, regardless of ability, can find the information they need. We want all our members – and anyone in the wider Jewish community – to be able to use our website with ease.

This accessibility statement applies to the United Synagogue website. It allows users to access content on the United Synagogue website.

This website is run by the United Synagogue We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website so we have built it to conform with web accessibility standard WCAG 2.1). In addition, this means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings
  • zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.
