The Certificate of Religious Practice (CRP) gives applicants the chance to demonstrate Jewish practice when applying to schools where a CRP forms part of the information to be supplied at the time of application. Parents and children complete this for nursery and primary applications, and the child does it for secondary entry in years 7 and 12. Collecting CRP points allows you to prove that you are eligible for a faith place at the schools you are applying to that require a completed CRP form.

You will need to collect points on your CRP form. There are different ways in which you can do so, details of which you will find below.

The new season for collecting CRP points commences on April 5, 2024.

The deadline for applications is:

  • October 31, 2024 for secondary applications
  • January 15, 2025 for primary applications.
  • Sixth form applications are due in mid to late January but can differ between schools.

Please note that Admissions and CRP requirements differ from school to school.

It is very important to check each school’s website for their admissions policy to understand what is required.

If you wish to collect points by recording your attendance to Shul, you will need to register with the shul you intend to attend.

Some US shuls use an online system for recording shul attendance. Please check the list below. If your shul is listed then you can register on the online system using this link: https://myus.theus.org.uk/crp-application/crp-user-login/

If your shul is not listed, please contact the shul office directly to register for recording shul attendance.
