  • Tribe Education Assistant

    Description: Reporting to the Community Division Operations Manager you will be required to provide administrative support to the Education Department.

    The main duties will include:
    - To be responsible for general enquiries on the phone and e-mail for the Education Department as well as for specific team projects.
    - To be for a part of the overall admin team in relation to general office duties which include the franking of post, maintaining stock levels of core office items and ordering office consumables and maintaining a tidy office.
    - Other duties will include diary management, assisting with the ordering and compilation of programme and resource packs and from time to time coordinating external meetings and note taking.

    The successful person will be expected to have a well developed sense of responsibility, ensure confidentiality is kept at all times, have good organisational and effective customer care skills and be self motivated and adaptable. The post holder will also be able to demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised, manage their own workload, and deliver results under pressure within tight deadlines and objectives.

  • Tribe Fieldworker

    Description: We are looking for a Fieldworker to enhance our programmes by visiting and facilitating events and programmes across our communities and centrally, across all departments.

    Reporting to the Tribe Teens Executive, you will also assist in the development of programming for Tribe Shabbatonim, Summer Camps and Summer Schemes and you will be a role model for the youth representing Tribe in our communities.

    The successful candidate will have the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels and will have proven experience of working with Jewish youth. The post holder will also be able to demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised, manage their own workload, and deliver results under pressure within tight deadlines and objectives.

  • Education Coordinator

    Description: Under the direction of the Tribe Executive Director, you will be responsible for the delivery of a range of educational initiatives laid out in the US Education Strategy Paper of November 2009.

    The main duties will include:
    - Liaising with all member shuls in terms of all aspects of their educational curriculum - including adult education, explanatory services, Shabbatonim, adult educational tours, parent/ child learning programmes.
    - Working with all centrist orthodox primary and secondary schools to dovetail the US educational strategy with the respective school educational curricula and programmes.
    - Responsible, in conjunction with the US Marketing Department, for the compiling and distribution of US publications throughout the year - Tishrei, Chanukah, Pesach, in addition to project specific publications as required including educational materials for the US website.
    - Organising the Marriage and TCM learning programmes in the UK and Israel and coordinating a range of educational programmes for young professionals – business breakfasts etc.

    We are looking for someone with a strong Jewish and secular educational background both personally and professionally who possesses excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. The successful person will be expected to have a well developed sense of responsibility and have good organisational skills. The post holder will also be able to demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised, manage their own workload, and deliver results under pressure within tight deadlines and objectives.

  • Online Publishing Executive
    Type: Marketing & Communication
    Department: Head Office
    Description: Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager you will support the Marketing department by being responsible for the US presence on digital media including US websites, blogs, the soon to be launched weekly e-journal, emails, social networking sites and facebook.

    The main duties will include:
    - To prepare the weekly e-journal and other e-communications.
    - Day to day content management of web content across the US websites through an existing CMS. These sites being: the US main site, Tribe and kosher.org.uk.
    - To investigate and develop the use of external websites such as You Tube and Facebook to enhance our communication channels.
    - To increase the US website presence on partner sites.
    - To perform regular analytics on the websites to help determine future content.

    The successful person will be expected to have a well developed sense of responsibility and have good organisational skills. The post holder will also be able to demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised, manage their own workload, and deliver results under pressure within tight deadlines and objectives. Previous experience of working within, or knowledge of online media is essential.
