Conversion


The London Beth Din is responsible for the vast majority of Orthodox conversions carried out in the United Kingdom. The conversion process, which requires total commitment to living a full Jewish life, is closely supervised by our Dayanim. Day-to-day coordination of the conversion process is undertaken by Rabbi Rashi Simon.

To apply for a conversion please write, setting out in detail your reasons for wishing to convert and outlining any previous experience that you have had of Jewish practice and ritual. It would be helpful if you could provide a reference from a Rabbi whom you have met and with whom you have discussed the issue of conversion.
