US HOST BRUNCH FOR SHULS NEWLY ELECTED MANAGEMENT

The US Community Division played host to over 70 people on Sunday as newly elected Synagogue Chairmen and Board of Management enjoyed a “we’re here to help” brunch at the Isola Bella restaurant in Hendon.

The brunch was an opportunity to highlight the work of the United Synagogue Head Office and demonstrate the support available for local communities. United Synagogue President, Dr Simon Hochhauser gave a vote of thanks to the new management teams and each US department head presented a snapshot of their work, including the Community Division, Kashrut, Beth Din and Burial.

David Kaplan, Director of the Community Division commented: “Sunday Brunch was a hugely successful morning and enabled many new contacts to be established. The idea was to showcase to all of the different communities that the Head Office is here to help them and assist them in what each community sets out to achieve.”
