GIVE US YOUR DOUGH

The United Synagogue this week launched their 2012 pre-Pesach Appeal, �Give US Your Dough� by baking a huge promotional chollah which was cut up and sold to staff at the US central office, to kick off the fundraising.

The appeal will raise funds for the US Chesed Pesach Food programme, which donates essential items to members of the community who struggle to afford Passover food. Last year, the programme supported 500 individuals and families, a figure which new Head of US Chesed, Michelle Minsky, is expecting to exceed this year.

Michelle Minsky, Head of US Chesed commented;

�Sadly more members of our community than ever before rely on the Pesach Food programme. It is vital that we continue to receive the necessary support to enable everyone to participate in Passover this year.�
