Luton Formally Joins The US Family

LUTON FORMALLY JOINS THE US FAMILY

Last night, the US council formally voted for Luton Hebrew Congregation to join the United Synagogue.

Speaking after the vote, Brian Green, Chairman of Luton Shul said: �We are delighted to be joining the US family and look forward to developing our community over the coming years within the US.�

David Kaplan, Director of Community Services, added: �It is wonderful news that this formerly independent community on the border of London is joining the US as a full member. We look forward to working with their Rabbi - Rabbi Schwei, Honorary officers and members to support vibrant Jewish life in Luton.�
