PRESS RELEASE

THE PERSONAL TOUCH FOR TRIBE’S SCHOOL LEAVERS

On Sunday, Tribe adopted a personal touch as seven vans hand delivered 750 Campus Gift Packs to students graduating from secondary schools and going onto further education in the autumn.

The Tribe (Young United Synagogue) Campus Gift Packs delivered to school leavers, come in a handy tribe backpack and contain a Chief Rabbi Siddur, a tribe pen, a tribe notebook, a can of kosher baked beans, a pot noodle and other things that might come in useful for school leavers whether they are going straight to university or taking a gap year first.

The spare bags were dropped off at 5 convenient locations where they can be redeemed with a calling card that was put through a letterbox if someone wasn’t home.

As the vans left for their deliveries, Rabbi Andrew Shaw, Executive Director of Tribe said: “Tribe is distributing 750 campus packs this year to help ease students into their first weeks on campus. As well as lots of freebies, the packs give details of the support we offer during that time of transition from home to college.”
