PRESS RELEASE

London,2nd January 2008

TRIBE TEENS HAVE A WAIL OF A TIME IN WALES

100 members of TRIBE Teens packed their bags and headed to Cefn Lea Holiday Park in Wales for the TRIBE’s annual weekend. The participants, who were aged between 11 & 14, came from all over the country for the 4-day action-packed weekend.

Over Shabbat, hosts Belmont and Borehamwood Youth Directors Emma Hart and Aryeh Richman ran a series of inspirational programmes and provided a host of activities to keep the teens occupied. These included rodeo rides, army training and a sing-along havdallah. With inspiring talks from Rabbi Andrew Shaw, participants were able to enjoy a Shabbat atmosphere in a positive, relaxed environment. In just four days, participants had a taster of the fun to be had at TRIBE Camp.

Avi Friedmann, TRIBE Teens Executive and co-ordinator of the trip, commented: “It was wonderful to have so many of TRIBE’s younger members with us for the weekend. It was not only great fun, but truly inspirational for all that attended, and we hope to repeat its success at TRIBE’s Summer Camp next year.”
