TRIBE ISRAEL FEEL THE RHYTHM
Almost 250 TRIBE members were feeling the beat when TRIBE Israel hosted a concert entitled ‘Rhythms of the Soul’ on Monday 19th November in the Menachem Begin Museum, Jerusalem. The women-only audience was entertained by the musical stylings of London soul singer Delia Spiers and rock singer Moran Rotman who had travelled from Toronto, as well as many other talented performers.
The attendees, who were mostly gap year students, were tapping their feet along to the talented songstresses. As well as singing, the performers shared their stories about moving from the world of recording contracts and careers in the music industry, to a more religious lifestyle where they successfully sing to women audiences only.
TRIBE member Melissa Rosen, who also performed on the night, commented “It was an incredible and truly inspirational experience. The performers were extraordinarily professional and their stories were equally as fascinating.”
Merissa Gross, TRIBE Israel Executive commented: “It was fantastic to be able to bring together so many talented people to be enjoyed by so many. We’re very thankful to those who performed on the night, and welcome the opportunity for the TRIBE’s female members to be able to get together for a night of first-rate entertainment.”
