TRIBE WELCOMES GAP YEAR STUDENTS TO ISRAEL
Over 120 UK students who have arrived in Israel for their Gap Year attended a ‘welcome to Israel’ barbecue last week hosted by TRIBE.
Participants on gap-year schemes including Bnei Akiva and FZY, as well as those learning in Israel’s yeshivot and seminaries, gathered in Jerusalem’s Liberty Bell Park for a chance to hear of the many TRIBE events that will be occurring during their year in Israel. They were joined by Tribe Israel Rabbi, Gideon Sylvester, and Charlotte Klein, Tribe Leadership Director.
Merissa Gross, TRIBE Israel Executive commented: “I am delighted to see so many people involved in Tribe during their Gap Year. The barbecue was a great success and we look forward to seeing many of the students again at our forthcoming Shabbaton in October as well as our many other events throughout the year.”
