NEW 2007 KOSHER NOSH GUIDE LAUNCHED BY COMPETITION WINNER
The 2007 Kosher Nosh Guide was launched yesterday at Francesca’s in Golders Green following a nationwide competition for TRIBE members to design its new front cover. The winning design, picked from hundreds of entries, was produced by Hadassah Lax, age 10, from Independent Jewish Day School in Hendon.
With over two hundred new products, the 2007 edition has four new sections; peanut butters, chocolate spreads, rice & corn cakes and yoghurts. This year there are over 80,000 copies being produced and distributed throughout the Jewish community. The launch coincided with a kosher assembly tour of Jewish primary schools where Rabbi Andrew Shaw, Executive Director of Tribe, has been educating about Kashrut whilst also handing out the new guide.
Rabbi Conway, Director of the Kashrut Division, commented that: “The Nosh Guide is a must for anyone who wants to keep Kosher. We are proud of the phenomenal work that is put into creating this guide that makes it really easy to keep kosher nowadays. Kashrut is the aleph bet of Jewish commitment and we are delighted to be distributing free 80,000 copies, particularly to all Jewish school kids and students throughout the UK.”
The 2007 Kosher Nosh Guide is available at all Jewish bookstores, kosher outlets and Tesco supermarkets.
