OVER 100 TEENS TAKE PART IN TRIBE FOOTBALL FRENZY

Over 100 teenagers assembled at Barnet Power League on Sunday 3rd July for the annual Tribe Football Frenzy tournament. Over 17 teams from communities across the United Synagogue took part in two tournaments split between Years 7 and 8 and Years 9 and 10 in a six aside knockout format.

Plenty of goals were scored throughout the afternoon and the eventual winners were the Cockfosters and New Southgate team in the years 7 and 8 tournament, while the years 9 and 10 tournament was won by Muswell Hill Synagogue.

Noa Lachs, Captain of the Muswell Hill Year 9 and 10 team was delighted with his team’s performance, and commented;
“What a fantastic day. I am very proud of my team, they all took it very seriously and it was a very competitive tournament. Thank you to Tribe for organising the tournament. See you next year!”

Josh Sagal, Tribe Projects executive said;
“Tribe are proud to continue the tradition of the Inter – Synagogue football tournament, Tribe Football Frenzy. Every team played in the right spirit and it was great to see the healthy competition between the different communities.”

Rabbi Shaw, Executive Director of Tribe added;
“As always it was great to see so many of our shuls coming together, working with their Tribe youth directors and creating a really enjoyable afternoon.”
