PRESS RELEASE

SPARKS FLY AT TRIBE'S NEW CHILDREN'S SERVICES

Tribe is excited to announce the launch of Tribe Spark, a new learning tool to assist members and volunteers who run children’s services across United Synagogue Communities.

Each week Tribe will email an interactive booklet containing a variety of activities, songs, discussions and a D’var Torah, all focusing on the weekly Parasha which will help entertain and encourage the children to participate. The Tribe Spark booklet will be split into sections, each aiming at a different age group, to ensure that every child is learning what is best suited and relevant to them.

Each week the Spark booklet will contain a wealth of content that will enable leaders of the children’s services to have flexibility to pick and choose which sections they wish the children to focus on.

Avi Friedmann, Programmes Manager for Tribe & Living and Learning said;

“This is a very exciting moment for all of us in the Tribe team. Spark will provide real tools for helping our members and volunteers run children’s services that are fun, interesting and have a high level of Jewish learning.”

Tribe Spark has already received rave reviews from one of the volunteers for Children’s services at Cockfosters & N Southgate United Synagogue. Helena Sharpstone (who is also a Governor of Wolfson Hillel Primary School) said;

“Tribe have provided us an invaluable resource which has made it so much easier for me to prepare my service and our children are already gaining greatly from the experience.”
