TRIBE TEAMS FROM ACROSS THE US COMMUNTY BATTLE IT OUT FOR FOOTBALL TROPHY

Tribe’s Football Frenzy took place this weekend at the Barnet Powerleague.

Twenty five teams from a variety of United Synagogue communities came together to battle it out for the trophies. There were junior (Years 7 & 8) and senior (Years 9 & 10) tournaments with Finchley winning the junior tournament and Chigwell & Hainault winning the senior’s.

Jonny Levy, youth director of Chigwell said “My boys did brilliantly well throughout the afternoon against really tough opposition and I’m so thrilled that they won the senior competition.”

Commenting on the event, Josh Kleiman, Tribe project coordinator said “This 5-a-side tournament is a fantastic opportunity for youth from our communities to get together for some sporting action. This year’s tournament was the best ever – with great teams, good football and social fun.”
