KINGSBURY MIKVEH LAUNCHES CAMPAIGN

The Kingsbury Mikveh this week launched a campaign to raise much-needed funds for refurbishment. The first stage of this campaign will be a Ladies Quiz supper taking place on Wednesday 12th May.

Located at Kingsbury United Synagogue, the Kingsbury Mikveh has had a steady stream of users over the years but is now in real need of refurbishment. The Friends of Kingsbury Mikveh are determined to raise the funds needed.

Commenting on the fundraising campaign, one lady who uses the Kingsbury Mikveh said: “Kingsbury mikveh has such a lovely atmosphere – it is really warm and friendly. You genuinely feel the kindness of the Mikveh ladies. It’s a fantastic communal facility located only 10 minutes from Hendon.”

Encouraging people to attend the Quiz supper, Flora Frank, Chair of the Friends of Kingsbury Mikveh said: “This event is a chance for ladies from across the community to show their support for the mikveh. Anyone interested in attending should call 020 8958 4121.”
