SHENLEY'S US COMMUNITY EXPRESSES GRATITUDE TO RABBI LEVY
It was announced this week that Rabbi Natan Levy and his family are leaving Shenley United Synagogue this coming summer. Rabbi Levy was the second Minister for Shenley shul, taking over when the previous Rabbi, Shmuli Kass, tragically passed away in 2007.
Commenting on the departure, Dr. Alan Hirschowitz, Chairman of Shenley Synagogue, said: “After a very successful 2 years working with Shenley United, the Rabbi and his family have decided that it is now time for them to move on to their next challenge.
“We wish them all the very best of luck in the future and are truly grateful for everything they have done for Shenley.”
David Kaplan, US Community Services Director added: “We are sad to lose such an innovative Rabbi. In the last few years the Shenley community has doubled in size and is continuing to grow its membership. We are looking forward to appointing a new Rabbi to take the community onto the next exciting stage of its development.”
