Project Chesed Award

The United Synagogue's Project Chesed has won an NHS loyalty award in recognition of its blood donor campaign, which has brought in 3,000 donations from more than 1,000 US congregants. NHS donor relations co-ordinator Andy Byrne thanked the US and Chesed director Candice Woolfson for inspiring members. Their donations had made a "tangible difference".
