UNITED SYNAGOGUE WELCOMES NEW RABBI

Hadley Wood United Synagogue, the satellite community of Cockfosters and New Southgate, is delighted to announce that Rabbi Yoni Birnbaum has joined the community as its new Rabbi.

London-born Rabbi Birnbaum grew up in the Kingsbury United Synagogue community and was part of the United Synagogue’s successful Rabbinic interns programme last year. Rabbi Birnbaum, together with his wife Elisheva and family have taken over from Rabbi Zvi Wanderer, who served the Hadley Wood community for three years.

“We are delighted to welcome Rabbi Birnbaum and his wife Elisheva to Hadley Wood. Said Michael Singer, cochairman of Hadley Wood Shul. "This is a new and exciting chapter in our development, with Rabbi Birnbaum here to strengthen our community and lead it forward.”

Rabbi Birnbaum said: “We are delighted to be joining such a warm and welcoming community. There are exciting times ahead for Hadley Wood, and we look forward to working together with the community in encouraging its continued growth and development in the years to come.”
