US GUIDE TO MARRIAGES

The United Synagogue has appointed its first marriage liaison officer, charged with guiding couples through the marriage process and connecting them to their US congregations.

Lindi Wigman sees her role as making “getting married under the US auspices as smooth as possible and showing the couple the benefit of becoming involved in their local community”.

Married with two children aged 18 and 20, Mrs Wigman’s new post is under the joint auspices of the United Synagogue’s community division and the Chief Rabbi’s office.
