FINCHLEY BURIAL OFFICE TO RELOCATE TO BUSHEY CEMETERY

The United Synagogue Burial Society is to relocate its North West London facilities from Finchley shul (Kinloss Gardens) to a newly refurbished office complex in Bushey Cemetery, in a bid to further streamline its services. As part of this modernisation, the largest Jewish burial society in Europe will launch a new automated phone system that will link all burial offices and United Synagogue cemeteries.

The launch of the new phone line -(0208) 950-7767 - which will coincide with the relocation - commenced Monday, Dec. 10 and will enable the burial society to deal even more efficiently with 1,00-plus burials and stone settings ever year and all ancillary services.

Melvyn Hartog, head of burial for United Synagogue commented: "Improvements in technology will enable the burial society to provide and even better service to people at a difficult time. The new systems and enhanced facilities will augment the burial society's infrastructure, providing increased support to our members."
