RABBI'S SWAP SHULS
Rabbi Alan Plancy has been appointed temporary minister at Northwood United Synagogue, effectively swapping positions with Rabbi Naftali Brawer who last summer was named as his replacement at Borehamwood and Elstree shul.
Rabbi Plancey will take up the role in August, remaining until a permanent successor has been appointed.
David Freedman, Chairman of Northwood United Synagogue, said: " As a result of his long career as communal rabbi, stretching over 40 years, Rabbi Plancy will bring a wealth of experience and wisdom to Northwood and we are very much looking forward to the many benefits his presence will bring."
Rabbi Plancy said: "I am delighted to accept the invitation to accept from Northwood and I look forward to developing a thriving Jewish community within the United Synagogue family."
