TOP MARKS FOR US EDUCATION
The Early Years department of the United Synagogue’s Agency for Jewish Education has been ranked as an “exemplary provider” by Cache, the UK’s awarding body for early years education.
The AJE, which offers NVQ qualifications for nursery and reception class staff, has been given top ranking following a recent Cache inspection. The report described AJE as having “a clear vision of its role in the community” and “a clear understanding of quality assurance”.
AJE early years coordinator Sandy Potashnick, commented: “This outstanding result is a tribute to the hard work of all our professional staff.”
AJE is to develop a new NVQ course for teaching assistants, starting in 2008.
