RECORD RABBINIC GET-TOGETHER

A record 100 delegates attended the United Synagogue rabbis’ annual conference.

The theme of the 11th annual RCUS conference in Bournemouth was “ideas into action” and featured contributions from Chief Rabbi Sir Jonathan Sacks, from dayanim of the London Beth Din and international speakers including Rabbi Pesach Lerner, executive vice-president of the National Council of Young Israel, USA. Sessions were also taken by a trainer who demonstrated how brainstorming and project management can be utilised by rabbis.

RCUS chairman Rabbi Mordechai Ginsbury said: “It is remarkable to see how far and how fast we are moving forward with rabbinic development in the US. It was inspiring to see so many colleagues and their families enthusiastically learning together.”
