YOUNGSTERS FIND IDENTITY
MORE than 80 youngsters have returned from an action-packed two-week Tribe summer camp.
The camp, held at the Kingswood adventure site in the Peak District, saw children aged between 11-15 travel from as far as Manchester and Glasgow to take part in a broad range of activities.
These included a visit to Alton Towers, rock climbing, quad biking and abseiling.
The camp marked Tisha b'Av with a ceremony to learn about the significance of the fast day, Jewish history and identity.
Tribe's executive director Rabbi Andrew Shaw said: "This year's camp and summer schemes have been the best ones yet.
"They are the culmination of all the work that Tribe has been involved with in our communities over the past 12 months.
"We are already working hard with our communities for the year ahead with a full range of programmes for all ages."
