The Research Department can provide you with up-to-date statistics of your Shul membership including the ages and marital status of members, as well as graphs showing you your membership trends and profile. This data is instrumental in helping you to understand your membership better and in helping you to plan for the present and future needs of your community.
We can also provide you with maps showing you exactly where all your members are living, work out for you how many of your members are living within a certain radius of your synagogue building or indeed, of another location.
We can offer you advice and support on designing and conducting community surveys and focus groups. We also have expertise in observational research.
If you wish to conduct a larger scale research project looking at a particular issue - whether it be evaluating a project you have initiated, researching members living on their own in your community or the setting up of a local Eruv - we are here to help.
Please do contact us as we believe research has a major role to play in developing your community.
