The United Synagogue

Coral has been involved with voluntary work since her teens when she helped set up the Jewish Youth Club at Stanmore Synagogue. She went on to train as a Manager in clubs with the Association of Jewish Youth and subsequently moved to the North West Jewish Boys & Girls Club at Cricklewood. Following a working career and having a family, Coral joined Relate as a Marriage Guidance Counsellor originally as a volunteer but over time became a paid counsellor. She was with them for 18 years and subsequently ran and runs her own practice.

Coral was approached by the Chair of Wanstead & Woodford Synagogue to take over as the volunteer Co-ordinator of the Community Cares group and to modernise it and make it proactive. She was subsequently invited to join the US Community Cares Advisory Group.

Coral recently joined the US Chesed team as the first Chesed Fieldworker and is currently setting up a Community Cares group for Hackney Synagogue.
