He has semicha from the Israeli Chief Rabbinate and holds a PhD in philosophy from London University. Rabbi Harris is a Research Fellow at LSJS and a Visiting Faculty member at Yeshivat Ma'ale Gilboa, Israel. His book, Divine Command Ethics: Jewish and Christian Perspectives was published in 2003. He has published articles in scholarly journals including the Harvard Theological Review and The Torah U-Madda Journal, as well as articles in newspapers including the Guardian and the Jewish Chronicle. Rabbi Harris has taught on BA and MA programmes at King's College, London, and is currently an Affiliated Lecturer in the Faculty of Divinity, University of Cambridge.
