Jeremy Jacobs - Chief Executive

Jeremy joined the United Synagogue as Chief Executive in 2008. Previously he had been Chairman of Tribe, and served 2 terms as Treasurer of the United Synagogue between 1996 and 2002. A member of Belmont Synagogue, he spent many years on the synagogue's Board of Management and then Financial Representative as well as Warden.

By profession, he is a chartered accountant, having run a successful suburban practice, and, following its sale, was Group Financial Director of a large legal practice.

Married to Karen, they have 3 daughters, two of whom are married, with three grandchildren.
