The July Update to The Really Jewish Food Guide 2011 is now available for download at the bottom of the page. This quarterly update is cumulative and replaces all previous updates.

Adams Bubbaloo, listed as approved Parev on p.42, has changed formulation and the Cola and Strawberry flavours are Not Kosher.
The following products listed on page 107 are no longer made in a supervised factory and are therefore not approved and should not be used. Old stock which states on the packaging 'Made in Israel' is still approved:

SMA Breast Milk Fortifier, listed as approved Parev on p.33, is in fact Dairy.

Woodpecker Cider, listed as approved Parev on p.113 has changed formulation and is Not Kosher.
Swedish Glace Pearl Lollies on sale in some kosher shops are not currently KLBD certified or kosher approved.
Walkers Meringues, listed as Supervised Dairy on p.58, are in fact Supervised Parev.
August 2011
Amendments to Sweet n Low listing on p.104-5.
Sweet n Low Tablets listed as approved Parev, contain lactose and are therefore Dairy.
Sweet n Low Acesulfame K, listed as approved Parev, now comes in both sachets and bulk quantities. Acesulfame K Bulk is still approved Parev, but Acesulfame K Sachets contain lactose and are therefore approved Dairy.
We have been asked by the Star-K kashrut authorityto inform you that Rainbow Dust Edible Stars andEdible Hearts, produced by Rainbow Dust Colours in England, bear an unauthorised Star-K symbol. These products arenot certified by Star-Knor are they kosher approved.

Typhoo QT Instant Tea is listed on p.73 as approved Parev but is Not Kosher.
Calypso Exotix Cups listed on p94 are still approved Parev, but the newly introduced
Calypso Exotix Cartons contain grape juice and are therefore Not Kosher.

Cow & Gate Baby Balance Banana Delight, listed as approved Dairy on p.31, is now manufactured in a non-kosher factory and is therefore Not Kosher.
In the Cereal Fruit & Nut Barslisting for Dorset Cereals on p.37, "Date & Pecan" refers to Date & Pecan Chunky Slices, which are KLBD Parev. This product is not to be confused with a new variety recently introduced called Date & Pecan Bar. This product is KLBD Dairy.
The new range of Tilda Steamed Basmati Rice in pouches for reheating in the microwave is Not Kosher.

Calypso Jubbly Strawberry, listed as approved Parev on p.75, now contains grape juice and is Not Kosher.Old stock which does not list grape juice in the ingredient declaration is still permitted.
The following new drinks are formulated with grape juice and are therefore Not Kosher:

Giffard Vanille de Madagascar Liqueur, listed as approved and Parev on p.117 of The Really Jewish Food Guide 2011 is Not Kosher.
Novellino is no longer licensed by the London Beth Din but remains under the supervision of another Kashrut organisation.
All Tate & Lyle Granulated and Caster Sugar, wherever purchased, bears the 'KLBD P' logo and is Kosher for Pesach l'Mehadrin.
Tofutti Rock N Roll Cones, listed on p.76 of The Really Jewish Food Guide 2011, have been re-branded Triano Rock N Roll Cones. They are no longer kosher certified and should not be used. Old stock of Tofutti Rock N Roll Cones bearing the Kof-K logo is still kosher certified Parev.
Mojo Assorted Chews listed as approved Dairy on p.48 of The Really Jewish Food Guide 2011have changed formulation and are Not Kosher.

The Really Jewish Food Guide 2011 is now available from Jewish stores, schools and shuls in London and the Provinces. The new guide is fully updated and lists many new products. This year's guide includes three pages of discount vouchers for some of London's finest kosher restaurants.
